I love making things.  I have since I was a kid.  Some of my fondest memories include sitting around the kitchen table with my sisters playing SCHOOL,  making books,  cards & crafts for our BIG TIME holiday hoopla. Making things was always encouraged.

Maybe this was the only way Mum could get us 7 kids to sit down and be quiet!  Doesn’t really matter,  we were given the freedom to create worlds to play in.

Now I create storyworlds with a team of talented professionals all over the world.  Together we are collaborating,  experimenting and making NEW DIGITAL LITERACY FORMS for kids using QR codes,  APPS,  toys,  crafts & the web.
If you are a teacher interested in
co-creating & collaborating,  drop me

Even though I’m totally in love with creating new digital forms,  I still make OLD SKOOL
paper books & toys too!  There is something wonderful about the tactile nature of paper.

Over the years,  I’ve been lucky enough to make books with some of the best and brightest editors and art directors in children’s publishing.   I’ve illustrated over 25 picture books and written & illustrated 5,  including the one I’m currently developing.  Some of my picture books have been translated into Chinese,  Japanese and Korean.
I still love the process of making paper books filled with characters and the storyworld they live in.  Now the storyworld can break the page & extend into the digital space.  Cool.
